Friends of TLG, Episode 1: The Lunch Blog

It is with much excitement that we now present to you a new TLG series: "Friends of The Lunch Game."

Recently, Board Member Nick, in his haste to post something on TLGBlog, typed in the wrong URL in his browser. Instead of entering thelunchgame.blogspot.com, he entered thelunchblog.blogspot.com. To his surprise, Board Member Nick arrived at an alien lunch blog.

This blog, run by The Lunch Guy, was created in December of 2006, and raises many intriguing questions. Where are you, lunch guy? Why, lunch guy, have you only posted once? From where were you telecommuting, Lunch Guy? What exactly do you mean when you say the "soup was very average"? Lunch guy, we salute your ode to that one day in December when you decided to have a chicken salad sandwich (on a TOASTED white bun). We at The Lunch Game want to be your colleagues in Lunch.

As far as my initial investigtions turn up, it appears that Lunch Guy is most likely a Canadian citizen. It appears that his described lunch took place at a Coffee Time restauraunt (a Canadian fast-service donut restaurant, with global aspirations --4 Beijing locations!!). Is this correct Lunch Guy?

If he's from Canada, we can narrow it down to Alberta, Ontario or Quebec, so at least we don't have to go sloshing through the tundra of Manitoba to find the newest Lunch Game Honoree. Click to locate Canada locations

Disappointment. TheLunchBlog is the first official "friend of TLG" and yet it appears that many TLG participants don't have the common decency to visit our Canadian friend's blog and pay some respect. I never though I'd say this, but 'you sicken me.'

As far as I can see, so far nobody named "Pete" has commented on TheLunchBlog
